Trendy Fashion Options - Fashion Trend Setters Go Naked To Prove

Trendy Fashion Options - Fashion Trend Setters Go Naked To Prove
A Point
By Kacy Carr

Do you as a fashion trend setter know, that the clothes/Jewelry
you wear tells a story about you as an individual? It is fact;
the way you dress and present yourself in public dominantly
speaks volumes about your whole domain. It is the onlooker on
the street that holds the ending chapter when weighing up what
type of person they think you are from the clothes you wear.
More often than not people tend to conjure up a personal opinion
based on the whole entity of your image. Regardless of what
fashion designer gear is displayed in the fashion boutique
window, remember, the dummy is not out to make an impression. To
dress to impress is all well and good, however it is who you
wish to impress that may cause the denial of a friendship or
worse a relationship if dress sense (code) is not suitable.

Latest trendy fashion designs can be dressed up or down for
approval in certain situations. Sadly to make an impression you
may find you have to make changes e.g. choice of identity
(style) just to please folks who label you as being a fashion
freak.

A first impression is where you make an impact on others, this
is crucial if you seek acceptance into a particular circle of
friends. Unfortunately fashion trend setters are judged by the
clothes they wear.

Judgemental opinions should be kept under wraps because, it is
not what is on the outside that counts, it's the warm inner
beauty on the inside that really matters.

However people find this hard to understand or in some cases do
not want to understand that fashion trend setters - really are
nice people regardless of the stud in the nose or Medusa
hairstyle. Some fashion trend setters are seen as outcasts and
therefore suffer rejection all because of the clothes that is
worn.

A couple of examples below will tell you how the latest fashion
or your very own personal wardrobe can let you down.

1 "Vacancy for bank manger"; you dress in creations designed by
Vivienne Westwood for your interview, (orange skirt, black
fishnet stockings purple shawl and pink bows in your hair), and
before your foot is through the door, you are shown it after
being told the position has been filled. A judgmental opinion on
your appearance has just lost the bank a fashion trend setter
with an IQ of a 160.

2 What of the toffee nosed snob in the office spruced up in his
pin striped suit, tie and briefcase? Sadly he loses out on love
because of status issues, i.e. choosing to ignore the petite
flower hippie girl he passes each morning going to the office.
His world is only in acceptance of seamed stockings stilettos
and hair neatly pinned up. "Wrong move" many an office clerk has
ended up with a bird with no brains.

Remember "Never judge the book by the cover" Seeing through an
image can result in a perfect relationship/friendship.

For those with status issues who pass judgement and make false
assumptions about a person based purely upon the garments they
wear,

Then look - listen and learn from the example below.

1 Take the fashion trend setter dressed in combat pants, boots
- baseball cap and pierced tongue

2 Take the female office assistant dressed in a tailor made
suit, sling back patent shoes and hair neatly clipped in a bun.

3 Take the hippie dressed in ankle length skirt, leather
sandals, flowers in her hair and bells round her neck

Now strip the 3 ladies down to the bare essentials (naked) and
what do we have. Yes a triple duplication of the female species.
The only difference may be that of size and weight in each
woman. There is a lesson to be learned from this and that is,
you have no story due absent content. Without clothes we have no
character to base a story on.

Fashion trend setters who want to make a good impression on
their first date, need to keep their clothes on. You do not
undress to impress at least until you know your partners name.

10 Things You Need For 2008 to Winter 2009

10 Things You Need For Fall 2008 to Winter 2009
By Janice Tham

With each new season, you need a new look that stays with the
trends. There is no need to get rid of all your existing clothes
and buy a brand new wardrobe. These 10 things are all you need
to take you through this season. Just mix and match the old and
the new for a brand new look.

1. A New Tweed Skirt Suit

That was the big look for Chanel's Fall 2008 through Winter
2009 Ready To Wear collection. It is also the most practical
thing a woman could own. That skirt suirt would take you to the
board room and would boost your image at work.

2. A Pair of Tweed Pants that matches your tweed skirt suit.

The tweed jacket, and skirt from the skirt suit and these
matching tweed pants would smarten up your professional image
tremendously. Classy yet not stuffy. Professional but not
boring. The jacket could be worn with either the skirt or pants.
You can always wear your existing blouses inside the jacket and
still look like you are dressed from head to toe in new clothes.
Or you could leave off the jacket and just wear the pants or
skirt with one of your new blouses.

3. A blouse with a big bow at the collar

The ribbon blouse or big bow blouse, whatever you call it gives
you a sweet, yet sassy look. You can wear that with your
existing skirt or with your new tweed skirt or pants to work.
Wear it with jeans for the weekend. With it with a flared skirt
for thanksgiving or for family gatherings.

4. A lace blouse.

White lace blouses are a Chanel favourite this season while
black lace blouses, dresses and skirts are big at Prada.

5. Wide legged trousers in a fabric that drapes your figure

Androgyny rules at Armani with a models looking sharp in
gorgeous trousers. A pair of gray, beige or black trousers that
drapes well over your figure would look great for work or play,
depending on what you match it with. Throw a smart jacket over
it for work. Wear it with a sexy top for the night.

6. A black lace dress

Every girl should have her little black dress. This season,
make it a little black lace dress that is oh so Prada. That is
your go anywhere dress. From the dinner date, to a party or for
any occasion when you want to dress up.

7. A trenchcoat

At Hermes, the trenchcoat, worn above the knee was often worn
with a short skirt or tights or a pair of wide legged trousers
that drapes softly over the figure. If you don't already have a
trenchcoat, invest in one as this trend is here to stay.

8. Knee high boots

These not only look cool, they keep your feet and your legs
warm.

9. A floaty print top

Anna Sui's Fall 2008/ Winter 2009 ready to wear collection
featured beautiful printed tops. Some were inspired by native
american designs while others looked more like the clothes from
the Victorian era. Either way, prints abound and the fabric is
soft and floaty. Might be too cold to wear on its own outdoors,
but inside a heated building or where winters aren't too cold, a
top like that can go a long way.

10. A winter t-shirt

Hey, don't forget about comfort. Nothing beats a comfy t-shirt
beneath those jackets and coats. Just make sure yours is in a
winter fabric. It goes well with jeans. There's no need to buy
new jeans if your existing jeans fit you well. Just pair old
jeans with your new tops.

Top 5 Fashion Tips For Apple Figures For Fall 2008 Through Winter 2009

Top 5 Fashion Tips For Apple Figures For Fall 2008 Through
Winter 2009
By Janice Tham

If you have a thick waist and small hips, then you have an
apple shaped body. Don't envy the pear shaped girls and
hourglass figures. You too can look shapely and womanly if you
dress to flatter your figure and Fall 2008 through Winter 2009
fashion has plenty of outfits made just for you.

First of all, unlike a pear shaped girl or hourglass figure, an
apple girl's waist isn't the narrowest part of her torso. That
award goes to her ribcage. So treat the narrowest part of your
ribcase as your waist, and suddenly, you've got curves too.

By bringing the waistline of your dresses and tops to your rib
cage, the effect seen in empire waist clothes, you get a shapely
figure. So focus on empire waist dresses and blouses. They
flatter you.

Now for Fall and Winter 2008, dresses are hot and they skim the
natural waist. Many of them have empire waists. The lace black
dress with long sleeves is in. As is the pretty flowy top with
big sleeves. So girl, this is your season.

1. Start with a new dress. Prints or plain. Colored or neutral.
It doesn't matter, other than the fact that it has a high
waistline and is in a color or colors that flatter you. Animal
print dresses are glamorous and sexy. I saw a stunning dress in
a hot animal print, like a leopard print but with huge spots
instead of tiny ones. It had an empire waist.

2. Detract from you thick waist by drawing the eye to your arms
and legs. You blouse should have full sleeves. The hems of the
sleeves should be full and flowy. A longish blouse or top that
has an empire waist, but flares below to a full hemline is
another plus for you. Pick one such blouse, sheer, or lacy or
made of a velvet or silk. Either way, if it is flowy and full in
the right places, you'll look more feminine in it.

3. Get one of the black lace dresses that are so hot this
season. The black widow look is big this season, thanks in part
to Prada. Pick a black lace dress with full sleeves, with wide
hemlines at the end of each sleeve. Get it in floaty lace, with
an empire waist of course. A full hemline for the skirt wouldn't
hurt either. Make that your de facto little black dress.

4. Load up on the accessories. Wear earrings to draw attention
to your pretty face. Wear bangles to bring the eye to your arms
instead of your waist. Wear stunning shoes. A pretty pair of
high heel shoes, or gorgeous boots that would draw attention to
your legs. Carry a beautiful handbag by day and a jewelled
clutch for the evening. Dress your hair with gorgeous
accessories to draw attention to your luscious locks instead.

5. Get on of this season's pretty belts and use that to cinch
your dresses and jackets at the narrowest part of your ribcage.
Thick or thin, it doesn't matter. Use the belt to turn any dress
into an empire waist dress that makes you look feminine and
shapely.
